Administration for Children and Families - includes information on topics such as adoption and foster care, child care, and Head Start.

Child Care:, a child care search website from the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education that helps families discover child care options in one click! Share with your families by downloading the outreach toolkit.

Early Stages is a DC Public Schools diagnostic center for children between the ages of 2 years 8 months and 5 years 10 months. They help identify any delays that your child may have and arrange services to address them. They can serve any child who goes to a DC public school, is home-schooled or has not yet entered the school system. Please call them if your child attends a charter school. They will help you find the right person to talk to. If your child is in a DC private school or in a DC childcare center, we can work with you, even if you live outside DC. All of their services areĀ FREE. They also have quarterly newsletters of useful information.

Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health - a family-run organization working to assist children and youth with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges and their families

Reading is Fundamental - provides information on motivating kids to read, choosing good books, reading aloud, and other tips and tricks

Zero to Three - offers parenting resources to promote baby and toddler development
